I got my start in real estate in 2016, working for a local short-term rental company where I began in groundskeeping and quickly moved into reservations, property management, and day-to-day operations. It was an unconventional introduction to the industry, but one that taught me early on just how much the small details matter.
And I've always liked the small details.
The way a home changes when the afternoon light hits the right room. The street you barely notice during a showing until you realize it's one you'll travel every day. The small improvement that changes how a room feels. The extra storage someone else might overlook. Or the one line in a contract that deserves a second look.
Real estate is full of big decisions, but I've found that it's often the smaller things that shape how we feel about them.
I earned my Colorado real estate license in 2017, and over the years my career has taken me through nearly every side of the business, from transaction and brokerage operations to marketing, negotiations, and representing buyers and sellers throughout the Denver Metro area. Along the way, I've had a front-row seat to the way our communities continue to grow, change, and develop personalities all their own.
Today, as an independent real estate broker, I get to bring all of that experience together in one place.
I'm naturally someone who wants to understand how all the pieces fit. What does the market actually tell us? How should we position this home? What could become an issue three weeks from now? What details will make a buyer stop and pay attention? And, most importantly, what actually matters to the person I'm working with?
Because a move is rarely just about bedrooms, bathrooms, and a purchase price. It can be imagining where you'll spend your mornings, deciding how to position a home you've poured years into, making a financial decision that affects what comes next, or knowing when it's finally time to leave a place that's meant a lot to you.
My job is to pay attention to all of it.
To give you straightforward advice, think a few steps ahead, protect the details, and bring a thoughtful strategy to whatever comes next.
Outside of real estate, I tend to appreciate many of those same small things: working on something around the house, finding a great local spot, exploring a neighborhood, or simply enjoying the place I get to call home.
At the end of the day, that perspective carries into the way I work too. The big decisions matter, but so do the smaller ones along the way. My goal is to make sure both get the attention they deserve.
